Juliana Voloshin
Dr. Juliana Voloshin earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Wheaton College in Massachusetts before receiving her Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris (VMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Throughout her veterinary training, Dr. Voloshin gained experience working with companion animals, livestock, laboratory animals, and working dogs, fostering a well-rounded clinical perspective and a strong commitment to patient care.
Originally from New Hampshire, Dr. Voloshin developed a love for animals, medicine, and the outdoors at an early age. Her path to veterinary medicine became clear during her junior year of college, when she realized she could combine her fascination with medicine and lifelong connection to animals into a rewarding career.
Committed to patient comfort and low-stress veterinary care, Dr. Voloshin is Fear Free Certified and is passionate about giving back to the animals that dedicate their lives to us. She has a particular interest in emergency medicine and emergency surgery, where she enjoys the opportunity to learn something new every day while advocating for her patients and providing compassionate care during critical moments.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Voloshin lives in Manhattan with her fiancé and their two working-line German Shepherds. She enjoys training and exercising her dogs, exploring new restaurants, traveling, spending time outdoors, and visiting family and friends throughout New England whenever possible.
